Save the VA Story/"The Veterans Town" Trailer

So this is what the good portion of the last few months of my life have been really leading up to: this is the video that acts both as a summary of Save the VA's efforts so far as well as a trailer for my documentary "The Veterans Town."

I've been busy working on footage for Save the VA especially over the past couple of weeks as the five-person group going to Washington, D.C. have been prepping and perfecting their presentation for Secretary Shinseki, including by presenting it to Governor Dennis Daugaard. Included in their presentation is a video featuring Oglala Sioux Tribe President Bryan Brewer, who was supposed to go on the trip, but was involved in a one-vehicle accident earlier this month. So Don Ackerman, who is part of the D.C. group as well, and I, along with Ed Thompson, went down to Prairie Winds Casino on the Pine Ridge Reservation and filmed a short video with President Brewer.

I can't wait to show you all some of my projects for 2013 and into 2014! Hopefully should be a very exciting couple of years!
